We have a booth at the Yardley Farmer's Market on Saturdays as well as the Hunterdon Land Trust Farmer's Market on Sundays. While we don't have a dedicated storefront, feel free to reach out and we can schedule a pick-up appointment.
Our raw, unfiltered honey is sustainably gathered from our hives right here in Solebury, PA. We uncap the comb and put it through a centrifuge, leaving it intact for the bees to continue using. Our honey is passed through a sieve to remove debris but is never filtered or pasteurized.
The color and flavor of honey is dependent on the type of flower nectar that the bees collect. Generally, in our region, lighter honey comes from earlier harvests and has a fruitier, lighter flavor and darker honey comes from later harvests with a more robust taste.
Honey has an indefinite shelf life if stored properly in a cool, dry place. It may crystallize over time, but this is normal and can be easily remedied by gently heating the honey to just below 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
While we can't know for sure where our bees forage, our hives are kept just across the street from a 400+ acre organic farm.
